Where can I buy cheap knitting yarn locally?

I need a single ball of brown acrylic DK yarn. Where is best to find some? Do the markets in Brixton or Peckham have a stall? I have had a look in a couple of charity shops but none have what I'm looking for.

hi -they sell normal knitting wool in Kristal Pharmacy on Nunhead Lane, next door to Ayres the Bakers. You might find what you need in there Good Luck!
