furby/teksta pubby - anyone got one?!

Does anyone's little people have either a furby or a teksta puppy?!! my boys both really one either one of these for chrimbo but I don't know anyone who has one so I have no idea if they are any good. Or will they fall to the fate of most of their toys are be discarded after 10 minutes?!

Any experiences with these delightful looking creatures would be must appreciated!

Interested in this post too and I know they say suitable from age 6 does anyone know if any good for a younger child as my friends 4 year old daughter is saying she wants one.

If you google reviews of teksta as I did I think you'll get your answer - I did! Not sure about Furby but I'm sure that's widely reviewed too.

We bought our daughters a furby each last Xmas. One didn't work at all. The other did and was so ghastly when the useless one was taken back to the shop, a replacement was not requested. The furby which worked was so irritating (it does not shut up) that we were relieved when the batteries died only a few hours after we put in. My daughter lost interest in it very quickly, and when she tried to revive it recently it refused to work and we were secretly very pleased. I would not recommend.

I have a Texta I was going to sell. It doesn't perform quite as many tricks as the packaging suggested but it was v.popular when my children were about six. PM me if you're interested.
