I have just completed a short course which is organised by Ariadna Sole (she is on the forum as birthmatters) and I would recommend it. It was 2 consecutive Saturday mornings at 2 hours per session. We covered lots of things from CPR to cuts and wounds. It is quite fast paced, but the group was small so we got to do some practical work. I didn't have any experience at all and found it useful, so if you are after a refresher it would probably be good for you. I am not sure when the next course is, but I will be signing my husband up!
I contacted London Ambulance Service and they have said they will do one in my home for free. There will be 5 of us doing it, and I am just working out the details with them; might worth contacting them? My husband and I plan to give a donation to the charity in return as a thanks for thier time.

    • It says Units 1 and 2, 4 Melbourne Grove. That seems to be the site of Big Bellies and the Physio, recently for sale... https://www.loopnet.co.uk/Listing/4-Melbourne-Grove-London/32981139/
    • I do like Chacarero. Lovely people as well as delicious foods (especially the chimichurri).
    • Why on  earth does anyone need two of them?
    • Looks like a new empanada place has opened on LL, a (small) chain. Have tried one of their other locations and they were meh Just to say - I hope you keep supporting Chacarero (which is next to EDT on LL)! - Chacarero are already here and their empanadas are genuinely the best I’ve had (in London). - Chacarero are local - family owned and run - they’re genuinely lovely people (link to their Instagram). They seem to work all hours of the day (and I believe have a little one in their family now!) So yeah - I won’t be going to the new place (no disrespect to an expanding chain), but I’ll definitely be ordering more from Chacarero. If you’re also a fan of good empanadas and keeping it local - I hope you do the same!
