Surveyor for homebuyers report

Please could I have recommendations for a surveyor to give me a homebuyers survey for my house purchase? Do all surveyors cover all types/ value of house?

I used John Murphy in Dec 2011, was a good service and (at the time) quite a bit cheaper than others.
