I'm not gloating just taking the proverbial, whilst United remain in the Premiership I hardly think their "Glory Days" are over- There is definitely something not right at The Swamp, it's not as though it's a brand new squad trying to gel. Moyes is out of his depth imo but taking over from Fergie was always going to be a hard position to be in for anyone.

And Mr Medic.

I think Moyes is the right choice for United if that's what happens. Though he might not have the immediate respect Jose would have from everyone as his success is measured on a different set of scales to SAF and Jose, there are a lot of young players at United who will respect him as the boss as they still want to make it at United. Most of the older players seem to respect the Club enough for them not to continue to give whatever they have.

Do MU fans still feel the same?

Heard one guy on 606 pointing out that Moyes won nothing at Everton. well we all know that but maybe the penny has dropped on how important that is.

Did you watch that game Mick? United were very good to start with. Chelsea got lucky with their goal. The rest is history. This is an interesting article from the FT, though if what I read recently is correct only 10% on United's shares are on the stock market.

Not the case at all, nothing in that article says that Maine Road had a capacity of 35,000 City gates averaged 28,000 (even when in 3rd Division) after the Manchester Commonwealth games we moved into Etihad in 2003 (Eastlands or CoMS as we called it) and capacity was increased to just under 50,000 so of course there are more bums on seats. To increase capacity to 61,000 could be a big mistake unless safe standing is introduced.

All seated stadia are not what football should be about, the atmosphere at Dulwich Hamlet is often better than OT,Emirates,WHL,Etihad etc.

When OT expanded in 2006 (76,000) they, again, got more bums on seats but they struggle to fulfill that capacity week in week out. There needs to be a major reduction in ticket prices so average Joe can go regularly.

I know I take the p*ss out of Red Devil/Laddy Muck but that's just banter, getting to a home game for us costs an absolute fortune, it's not exactly easy/cost effective to go to a London game either, I've budgeted ?80 for tomorrow at West Ham.

I had to pay ?79 for my ticket against West Ham in the Cup. Bloody fortune and we lost too. Ouch!.

Speaking of Dulwich Hamlet. I finally got to a game there on Saturday for the first time since I was a kid in the 60s/early 70s. Great atmosphere and the quality of the football impressed me. They have a very good number ten. I'll be back there next weekend against Harrow. COYD!

I watched the game, and thought Chelsea were far superior throughout. Theyn were slaughtering United down the left.

as Alan has posted a paywall link this is pretty much the same article, but free http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2014/jan/14/manchester-united-share-price-david-moyes-premier-league

sooner United can rid themselves of the Glazers the better for the club---sh*t I mean long live the Glazers, momentarily lapse

The salon used to be further up the road towards FH station but moved to current location a few years ago. Closed on Mondays and Sundays.
