I am a life long fan of the East Dulwich constituency and read this forum regularly but rarely post. However I have a big problem and I need some help or advice.

My 18 year old daughter sat me and my missus down and told us she was seeing a man from East Dulwich and is pregnant. I won't name names as I assume I am not allowed. The man who she has been seeing has blanked her since she told him she was expecting. He has blocked her off his mobile and we have found that the place he was taking her to was a flat he borrowed and not his home. It turns out he is living with his long term partner and children.

My daughter is on the injection so this is a shock to her and her family. She naturally wants to speak to the babies father to see where she stands but we have no way of contacting him. The town mayor has been contacted about this situation and are no help at all.

I'm at a loss where to go or what to do next.

hahah! what a wonderful and bizarre contribution to the mundanity of our everyday lives. the young lady is apparently "on the injection". what can this mean, except that one injection at least has been effective. surely james barber is the man to sort this out.

    • Called Tessa Jowell GP Surgery today after failing to get two repeat prescriptions from the pharmacy.  When I asked the pharmacy, I was told that they had been requested but not sent by the surgery.  After speaking to the surgery I was told that those two items were no longer on my repeat prescriptions.  I was told I would need a prescription review. Earliest date would be the 22 September.  That is utterly ridiculous.  Surely someone from the surgery should have contacted me to tell me this after requesting the repeat prescriptions two weeks ago.    Also, apparently, there is no point sending an email regarding prescriptions as they are not actioned nor replied to as I have discovered.
    • Erm... guessing it's like any service... so you can receive/be part of something relevant to you in the area where you happen to reside. You don't have to sign up but you might miss out on an excellent Tesco offer or two. 🤷‍♀️

    • happy to buy, but would rather not buy a new one as only need it for a very short time (Hallowe'en). Please let me know if you have one in your cupboard that you don't use.
