I am pleased to announce that I will now be offering yoga classes, starting in January. The classes will be held from 7.30pm to 9pm in the warm and spacious function room at the back of the Rose Pub on 108 Forest Hill Road. Classes are suitable for all levels but particularly beginners/intermediates. For those wondering, the style of yoga is Iyengar!

The first class will start on Thursday 9th January, and will be held every Thursday thereafter. I am expecting places to fill up very quickly, so if you'd like to book a place, please let me know asap. You can pay ?15 cash on the door, or you can pre-book 5 classes for ?70 or 10 classes for ?140.

Yoga is a great way to strengthen your joints and improve your flexibility, as well as build muscle tone. It can be very relaxing too. It's a great compliment to personal training, and other forms of more vigorous exercise.

Please let me know if you would like to book by sending an email to [email protected] or reply by DM.

Have a wonderful Christmas.

    • Charity shops have really good board books, especially St Christopher's
    • It was indeed in the vicinity of DKH. I live on the ED estate and I could tell it must be close by because of the noise. When I left my house this morning I found the culprits litter still in the middle of the st. It looked like they had lit a whole box on fire in the middle of the road. My cat jumped out of her skin. I’ll try and report it on Southwark website same as I have had to with other illegal use this week. Any other ideas for what we can do with the photos? Maybe one of the Southwark councillors. It’s outrageous and dangerous behaviour.
    • Had another great meal there…. those that haven’t tried it, give it a go.. have a special lunch menu as well so you can get a flavour of the food.
    • If you "cotton on" and read the council announcement, it clearly states "The library will be closed from 17 November until late June or early July 2026."  https://www.southwark.gov.uk/2025/dulwich-library-closing-refurbishment
