The poor bollard on the corner of Adys Road and Nutbrook Street

There's now what looks like a small sinkhole protected by a single traffic cone in the middle of Maxted Road.

How exciting. Perhaps a Maxted resident has been digging out a basement swimming pool (its only a matter of time) and caused subsidence.

My money is on that Miles Jupp chap.

Maybe it's the big lorries and buses coming all the way down and reversing all the way back up again when they get stuck. The cone is now accompanied by a man in a yellow fluero jacket.

It is. But the Gormley bollard opposite it is at 45 degrees this morning.
