Closure of Croxted and Rosendale Road near bridges 11th-26th Jan

Just for people's info, the above roads will be closed 11th-26th for bridge replacements. No traffic will be able to pass. Also, village way bridge will be closed to traffic 8th-23rd feb. further details of closure can be found here....

It's such a shame that they're replacing these very attractive old bridges.

They'll be replacing all those lovely old bridges in Wales and the Lake District soon so that they are fit for the 21st century (regardless of the fact that they have been around for hundreds of years!)
