Hi all,

Its my partners Birthday on Thursday and we're planning on hitting East Dulwich for dinner. We've been to a few places but would love to hear any suggestions anyone may have? Any new places been discovered or ventured? We're both into everything and anything so dont hold back :)

Thanks

Thanks all, I pass Si Mangia all the time and often wonder what its like, so defo on the list. The Patch, isnt that the old Magdala? have you been there before "lightweight"?

Chatterb0x - done lordship lane to death and still loving it but was hoping for something a tad different.

Finally tried the food at The Flying Pig on Saturday for a birthday drink/food with friends - great if it's a lively place and somewhere new/different you're after (rather than an intimate 1-2-1 venue).

The pulled pork buns were good and smokey, the oyster-stout-marinaded onglet-steaks were excellent, the burger was a cut above and all the sides v tasty. Great beer and bourbon selection and the usual prosecco at ?25 a bottle if that's your thing.

    • Some foxes are very tame. The foxes that live near the electricity sub-station thing on the corner of Calton and Woodwarde will happily walk up to you/passed you. They are some of the best looking foxes around so clearly being well-fed - glorious coats and bushy tails but interested in humans and keen to engage/be fed rather than being scared.
