For those of you new to East Dulwich, we are a community run film society that has been going for over ten years. In our time we've played at the Thomas Moore Hall, The Dulwich Club (now a gated development), Upstairs at the EDT and at the Magdala. For the past few years we've been in exile at the The Castle in Crystal Palace Road but for our new season starting on Tuesday 17th April we're back at the EDT in Lordship Lane. We're interested in previewing short films by local film makers and getting involved with local community events. so, apart from coming to see our films, if you've got any comments or suggestions, post us a message.

Tomorrow's film is "I saw Ben Barka get killed"

Last week's film was a sell out. So come early and have a drink in the bar Upstairs at the EDT before the film.

      A good local hair salon

      My friend is an elderly lady and prefers to wash her own hair. She also has mobility problems and is dependant on mini cabs. They took her to the hairdresser and waited whilst she had it cut.. She obviously paid extra to the driver. If she had her hair washed- would have been in the salon a lot longer. They did spray wet her hair.

      Update on crowdfunding campaign: Any donations will have double the impact from Fri 3rd  - Sun 5th October. Any donations made to the crowdfunder in this time will be matched up to £10,000.  'With one week to go of the SDCAS crowdfund campaign we are close to £50,000, once gift aid is claimed on eligible donations.    A generous offer from an individual donor to match donations over the final weekend means we are tantilisingly close to our goal of £70,000!   If you have networks you are yet to share the crowdfunder with, now is the time as any donations will have double the impact from Fri 3rd  - Sun 5th October.
