I posted on here a few weeks back but all the PMs I got have somehow been automatically deleted so I lost everyone's details!

Anyway, looking for someone to knock through an internal wall, refit a kitchen, lay flooring (poss with underfloor heating) and do general decorating throughout a whole house.

Please send recommendations of anyone you've used who was good.

Thanks

I think I wrote on the post before, We used Lenny over Christmas - He is our builder/saviour!

I have attached pictures of the work he done if you would like to have a quick look?

Im so pleased! It was cheap and only took him and his team just over a week!

His number is 077 8000 4007

Hope this helps :)

I second Ray Murray Decorator - he came highly recommended to us, he's one of the tidyist working decorators we've known, we're using him again in a couple of months, he's been passed around a whole group of my friends and everyone sings his praises. He works quickly, is reliable, trustworthy and is a really nice guy too to have in your home. (Ray T: 07927 239023)

Hello there I would say you need more than a decorator so I'd like to recommend Col

he's an expert and very experienced builder and plasterer who can bring together a team for whatever task needs doing. he can work from drawings if needed - over the years he's knocked down walls to reconfigure space in several properties, put in kitchens etc etc everything nec to totally renovate a property.

Hi I can highly recommend Sean Mullins- SSS Property Services se22 . His firm is brilliant and he has been recommended by others on EDF . They do everything you need perfectly and very reasonable as well as reliable. His no is 07463704811 and you can see some of their work on website www.paintinganddecoratingservicesse22.co.uk

    • I second that, Core Soft Tissue Therapy - www.coredulwich.co.uk — they’re brilliant if you need a proper Sports Massage or help with any aches and pains, they do Chiropractic, Osteo & Acupuncture as well. I always feel so much better — can definitely recommend!
    • Just to clarify the charges for requesting books.  For getting them from Southwark library stock, it's now  a still very reasonable 70p, which includes delivery and collection at any branch.  I assume that includes new books which have been ordered for stock, and been assigned a catalogue entry, but haven't yet reached the shelves.  Otherwise, Inter-library loans or purchase requests cost £4. See https://www.southwark.gov.uk/culture-and-sport/libraries/join-library/fees-and-late-return-charges. I belong to a few other London borough libraries too, which can quite often be useful, given that buying and stock retention is going to vary between them.  PS And the free films, when running, are weekly (Mondays 1.30 pm iirc), with I think some sort of theme for each month. https://www.southwark.gov.uk/culture-and-sport/libraries/library-activities-adults
    • Thanks for coming, James!
