I just had this forwarded to me via a third party. I thought it might be of interest to those in the community with teenage daughters. Might be worth letting them know to always walk with friends if they can & be aware of who's around them.

"We have received the following message from the Deputy Head of Sydenham School which we would like to bring to the attention of Alleyn's parents whose children walk to school.

"We would like to alert you to the following incident. This morning a Sydenham School pupil in Year 11 who was walking in to school at around 8.30am was followed for approximately 10 minutes by a man described as medium height and mixed race or Asian. He repeatedly called out to her as he followed her along Lordship Lane.

While she is now safe she was very distressed by this incident."

    • Surely you are still covered under these circumstances even if you don't have the physical licence? I can't believe you would be prevented from driving? That would be a ridiculous system. I don't recall any delays   when mine was renewed. Why would their medical department be involved if you have no medical issues? Could someone have made some admin mistake somewhere along the line?
