This thread has been pointlessly catapulted back to the top, so as one of the voices with a positive experience of Hamish, I'd say his apology looks pretty clear

"I apologise again to Alex for the inconvenience caused. As explained I was ill in bed for three days and lost my voice. Despite this I should have informed you in advance as I did for a majority of my customers but you were unfortunately missed."

So, Alex, when you say "losing his voice shouldn't have kept him from sending an email" you are missing the point.

He missed you out. A mistake. What more is there to say?

  Hi all My car was stolen between 1.30pm-1.50pm today in SE22 East Dulwich in South East London. I have of course reported this to the police but not much is being done, so I thought I'd give this a shot. The registration is GM66YOV, though its possible the licence plate may have been changed by now. If you see it anywhere please contact me or the police. Thankyou!

  Years ago, got my ears pierced, alcohol on site, gun ..done.. Simple.. Gosh, surely your daughter of mothers can recommend - do you really need to post on forum? Or maybe you home school whatever.. still recovering from shock, posted along the lines of, advice needed about adopting/ buying a dog…. Guess I am now at a age, where I should just keep quiet and pass no comment and read postings like a “soap” - cheaper than tv licence…

I dont know.
