DIY question

Hello,

I'm about to make a load of furniture from scaffold tubes and boards, but have just realised that I've forgotten to get a couple of the pieces cut before being sent to me. Can anyone tell me whether I can fit a metal cutting blade into my makita wood circular saw to cut them myself? I really don't want to go down the 'trial and error route'....

If not, any helpful tips on how I can do it. I'm trying to save costs so buying an angle grinder isn't high on my wish list of things to do.

If they're the lightweight aluminium poles a hacksaw would do the job. For the steel ones you really are better off with a grinder - you can hire them.

You will need to be very accurate and steady doing this with circular saw. Even in a mitre saw aluminium can catch and move relatively easily which will leave you a rough cut and distorted tubing. If you are not confident I would recommend a large hacksaw.
