Dear all

Appreciate this is an East Dulwich forum however we thought that members here may well know Lambeth residents and could pass this opportunity on to people living in Lambeth, ie the areas listed below. This is a paid opportunity.

Brixton

Clapham

Stockwell

Norwood

North Lambeth

Oval

Streatham

Vauxhall

We're conducting a research project on behalf of Lambeth council looking into council issues and what they mean to Lambeth residents. We're looking for participants who can help us research particular demographics within the council. This will be paid work.

We require a broad, representative demographic spread including all ages from 18+, gay/hetro singles, married couples, couples with kids, single parents, retirees, gay couples, working professionals, unemployed, council housing, renting, homeowners, etc, as well as ethnicities: white/UK/Irish, Caribbean, African, East European, Portuguese.

This isn't the typical focus group-type research as we are looking for research partners to go out and talk to their peers, essentially conducting research on our behalf within their own demographics, before reporting their findings back to us.

Please contact Lamis for more information.

Many thanks

Lamis Harper

    • These neighbours dislike trees period. They refused to have lost trees replaced by the Estate on our communal green. They don’t like the leaf and seed droppings. These make the grass look ‘messy’. Similarly, they don’t like my policy of leaving the tree leaves where they lie on the grass verge - hence chopping the overhanging branches. It’s like living in the 1950s. My neighbours have three gardeners with leaf blowers who come twice weekly to remove every leaf from their front lawns. Their grass is cut weekly and all the  cuttings put in multiple brown bins. It’s an outdated mindset of the moneyed classes in my view. But sadly, I’m very much in the minority.
