Self storage hire - how much does it cost?

Does anyone know how much approximately self storage, such as Big Yellow Self Storage, costs for box room size space for 6 months? I tried getting an online quote but you need to submit your details and I'd rather not do that just yet as we are very much still in the pondering phase of decluttering/moving and don't want to be pestered.

can you not just put in fake details to get a quote or even quicker, just ring round some storage places and ask for an estimate for the smallest unit.

before I put some things into storage I got the best tip ever tip from a fabulous forumite and that is to not pay full whack for their ridiculously over-priced insurance. just say your stuff is worth nothing and pay the minimum.

I paid about 150 quid a month but that was for storage outside of London so probably a lot cheaper than London prices.
