The 5th Camberwell Scout Group are looking for Leaders and Assistance Leaders to start a Beaver Colony(6-8 Years) and join our growing Cub Pack(8-11 years) and Scout Troop(11-14 years). We are based at the St Faith's Community Centre on Red Post Hill, and meet every Friday evening. We run a balanced programme of activity consisting of games, personal development, adventure and community activity. Leaders plan and run the weekly meeting, as well as occasional activities at weekends. You do not need to have been involved in the Scout movement before, as all new leaders are given appropriate training and support when they join. All leaders are aso CRB checked when they start. If a weekly commitment sounds too much, there are lots of ways you could help out, by supporting trips and camps, fund-raising events or by offering a professional skill. You might be an expert in computing, cooking, performing, climbing or collecting - and willing to share your talents with our group over an evening or two. If you would be interested in finding out more about the rewarding challenge that being a Scout Leader provides, please contact the Group by visiting our website at http://www.5thcamberwellscouts.org.uk.
