katanita
This might be a long shot, but I'm working on a project to clear a large piece of land in a few months and will need to know how to use a strimmer for clearing weeds and brambles. I'm sure it's not that complicated, but I'd rather have someone who knows what they are doing show me how to use it safely. So any gardeners out there who might be willing to show me in return for me doing a days labour with them? Thanks! Herne Hill Guest
If you don't get anywhere here don't worry you will soon pick it up.If you are clearing waste land make sure your jabs are up to date.Wear as much protective clothing (not just ear defenders) as possible because if you hit fresh cat doings it will splatter everywhere and is extremely dangerous to humans.I don't like strimming so recommend not getting too good at it, else you might be stuck with it for a long time : ) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/42712-free-labour-for-gardener-in-return-for-strimming-experience/#findComment-734241 Share on other sites
