It's tonight!

From midnight tonight until midnight on Saturday, you can take a photograph of Dulwich and submit it to the competition - [email protected]. it can be anything - perhaps what Dulwich means to you, or just something quirky you've seen around and about.

You can take a photo on your phone if you'd like - it's that simple! And there's no age limit, young or old. You don't have to be affiliated with Harris Girls' Academy in any way either.

We've got some great prizes on offer - not only will you get a nice print of your photo, we've got tickets for the London Eye and the Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize at the National Portrait Gallery on offer.

Although the school won't be open this weekend, we'll be responding to emails so any queries you do have can be sent through. Really looking forward to seeing what you send through!

The basic rules are:

1) To enter in the spirit of the competition, all photographs must be taken between midnight (12pm) on Friday 6th

June and midnight (12pm) on Saturday 7th June.

2) Photographs must then be submitted to the email address [email protected] by 5.30pm

on Tuesday 10th June in order to qualify.

3) If your photograph is too large to be sent, or you would like to print your photograph yourself, please

contact us for alternative ways of submitting them.

4) Camera phones are permitted as well as standard cameras of any sort.

5) For the purposes of the competition, ?Dulwich? will be within the following boundaries ? West Dulwich

station (W), Honor Oak Park station (E), Peckham Rye Station (N) and Sydenham Hill station (S).

resolution (.tiff or .crw for example) you may do so.

8) In the interests of fairness, Photoshop cannot be used on the submitted photographs

    • Called Tessa Jowell GP Surgery today after failing to get two repeat prescriptions from the pharmacy.  When I asked the pharmacy, I was told that they had been requested but not sent by the surgery.  After speaking to the surgery I was told that those two items were no longer on my repeat prescriptions.  I was told I would need a prescription review. Earliest date would be the 22 September.  That is utterly ridiculous.  Surely someone from the surgery should have contacted me to tell me this after requesting the repeat prescriptions two weeks ago.    Also, apparently, there is no point sending an email regarding prescriptions as they are not actioned nor replied to as I have discovered.
    • Erm... guessing it's like any service... so you can receive/be part of something relevant to you in the area where you happen to reside. You don't have to sign up but you might miss out on an excellent Tesco offer or two. 🤷‍♀️
    • https://www.stanthonysprimary.co.uk/parents/admissions/admissions-1 Both my children went to St Anthony's and I feel it is a wonderful school... very inclusive of all faiths (they learn about all religions even though it's a Catholic school) and nurturing with great pastoral care and teaching. it's a real community of families and school staff and I was very sad when my youngest left for secondary this year.
    • happy to buy, but would rather not buy a new one as only need it for a very short time (Hallowe'en). Please let me know if you have one in your cupboard that you don't use.
