Is this the same people, does anybody know?

My car is in dire need of a wash - I'm not that fussy, but it hasn't been washed since the Dust Incident :))

Oops? new shysters in charge??? Car park given over again to a new lot running the car wash so back to a lack of parking and a cold shower for supporters!!! It's all about money at the end of the day.

New people - less staff - too slow - don't look like they know what they're doing. Bring back the last team - they were the best in the area. Tried the place on Denmark Hill - too slap dash, low quality, badly organised. Definitely a gap in the market for a well run, quick, good quality car wash.

Same here.

ETA: Not that my car gets washed very frequently :))

i have spoken to the old owner and he has set up in essex somewhere.... a bit too far...

spoken to the new guys and he said that there will be a lot more people working as of next week....

only live down the road so use them all the time... but they will have to hot up on detail as they are not in the same league when it comes to detail and cleanliness.... but maybe they were just getting tired and could be erradicated with more staff....

  • 1 year later...

    • Hello! We are relocating abroad and so will be withdrawing our two children (ages 4 and 6) from St Dunstan’s College (Catford). If any family is considering enrolling children of a similar age, now would be an excellent opportunity—we’re required to pay full‑term fees unless the places are taken. Please get in touch if you’re interested or know someone who might be. Thank you!
    • Hi  I really thought I'd seen a more recent post on the forum about home education meet ups. I can't find it though. • Thanks for your reply. I’ve subscribed to Ancestry a few times in the past but felt I wasn’t using it enough to warrant keeping up the subscription.
    • Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
