Another great jewellery course, free to southwark residents who are parents/carers and/or low waged...

Design and Make a Pendant with a Stone Setting.

This is a 2 day workshop, designed to fit into school drop/pick - up hours.

First experimenting with texturing and other sheet metal techniques you will then design a pendant, also incorporating a semi-precious stone of your choice. You will then learn how to make a setting for the stone and you will complete the piece with a bail or a jump ring so it can be attached to a piece of leather, cord or chain.

A small amount of sterling silver and a semi-precious stone will be provided for you to make your pendant, also free of charge.

DATE: Thursday 24 and Friday 25 April 2013

TIMES: 10.00am ? 3pm

?10 refundable deposit required to book your place

    • Does anyone know what happened to the lovely willow tree on the rye?
    • Long shot, but I don’t suppose anyone has a Sticklinch car parking ticket that they don’t need for Glastonbury? Or could switch with my general parking ticket at all? Thanks!
    • Many years ago, our neighbours were in a Southwark rented property. Both flats in house had access to a shared garden which was fenced off part way with each flat having their own piece of land. The front garden was shared and since both flats had young children, they put up a fence and gate between front door and pavement. Nothing was said by the council and even though those neighbours are now living else where, the fence and gate still remain and Southwark owns the freehold.
    • If you can use it exclusively for yourself for 12 years it might become yours by default under squatters rights? Maybe whack a bench on it and plant some flowers and then a little hedge around the perimeter to keep people out? I'm not sure if any of this is legal but it might be fun finding out?
