Camera shops for advice/repair

Can anyone recommend a photography shop either nearby or further afield that would know their stuff and be able to give me some advice and possibly repair my camera? I have a few issues: a Canon EOS that needs fixing as it has a slightly mysterious fault. I also want to look into trading it in for part exchange on a better model. Plus, I have an old Canon A1 with lots of lenses and accessories that I'm wondering what best to do with, sell it/exchange it, find an adapter for the lenses and use them with a digital camera, or what. It's a great camera, but I can't see myself shooting on film again.

Any recommendations would be very welcome! Thanks in advance.

No-one? Felt sure there would be some keen photographers here! Or is it that there just aren't any specialist camera shops left?

Jessops is your best bet, there was also a camera shop on West Norwood high street, up on the left towards the cemetery

Always assumed Jessops wouldn't have a clue, or do trade ins/exchanges etc. I'll take a look though, thanks.

Mr PR says look for a Camera Company called FIXATION possibly on South Lambeth Road, near the BP station opposite side of the road to Tescos.
