Belair House

Has anyone eaten at Belair House recently (I believe it changed hands this year) and would you recommend? The website looks great and looking for somewhere to take the family for a (hopefully) better than pub Sunday lunch.

I ate there about 3/4 weeks ago with my partner - it was very pleasant - beautiful from the outside and has character inside too. Staff were attentive, food and atmosphere were good. If I went again, I'd go on a sunny day to make use of the outside terrace for drinks before dinner. If you go Fri/Sat, noise and music from the bar rooms can get loud so if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful dinner, this is probably not the place. That said, we didn't find it overly disruptive. It's more background noise than struggling to hear your conversation type racket!
