How/when do you hear about Dulwich Hamlet admissions

Hi

Does anyone know how and when you hear if you have a place at Dulwich Hamlet juniors? It's not done through the normal eadmissions system as it's a transfer to a junior school rather than a reception admission.

You should receive a letter from the council admissions team which will have been sent out today, so hopefully tomorrow.

Don't over worry if you initially are not offered, as the waiting list tends to move quite quickly. If you are offered a place -and there are 120 this year - then make sure you have all your paperwork together as outlined in the offer letter so that you accept your place on either the 23rd or 24th April. You will need to come to the school.

If you are NOT accepting your place, please call the school as soon as you can, so we can offer to the next on the list.

Any idea how far did the first round of offers went to?

Just heard we got in and that's 720-odd metres. I think it'll extend a fair bit beyond that though as it's the bulge year (120 kids)

The catchment for DHJS always seems to be wider than the scaremongers would have anyone believe. Glad you got your place yenkcah.
