CRB / DBS check for nanny

Hi, has anyone arranged for their nanny to have a CRB / DBS check? For what I understand, we need to use an umbrella body. Can anyone recommend one?

Hi there,

Dulwich Childcare can do it for your Nanny. Essentially they need a recognised organisation to act as the countersignatory such as Dulwich Childcare.

We do not charge anything for the service, we put them directly in touch with the umbrella body. I shopped around for the best price and service and found a really good company that do it for just under ?65 and have managed to turn it around in one week for some of our Nannies! Our Nannies receive the original certificate in the post directly.
