Hi,

We supply the tables for the table top pitches, for car pitches you do need to bring your own, if we have spare tables you can of course hire that in addition to your car pitch

Weather forecast is looking very positive for next weekend, come along and grab a bargain!/sell your pre-loved goods!

The sun always seems to shine for the Heber car boot sale, weirdly (famous last words, I know!). Do join us tomorrow for what is promising to be another busy, friendly and bargain-tastic sale.

Gates open to the public at 9.30am. Entry ?1 for adults, kids free. There will be a cafe serving hot breakfast and drinks all morning. All profit goes to support your local school (this year's main project is building a school library for the children) so it's all for a good cause.

    • Called Tessa Jowell GP Surgery today after failing to get two repeat prescriptions from the pharmacy.  When I asked the pharmacy, I was told that they had been requested but not sent by the surgery.  After speaking to the surgery I was told that those two items were no longer on my repeat prescriptions.  I was told I would need a prescription review. Earliest date would be the 22 September.  That is utterly ridiculous.  Surely someone from the surgery should have contacted me to tell me this after requesting the repeat prescriptions two weeks ago.    Also, apparently, there is no point sending an email regarding prescriptions as they are not actioned nor replied to as I have discovered.
    • Erm... guessing it's like any service... so you can receive/be part of something relevant to you in the area where you happen to reside. You don't have to sign up but you might miss out on an excellent Tesco offer or two. 🤷‍♀️
    • https://www.stanthonysprimary.co.uk/parents/admissions/admissions-1 Both my children went to St Anthony's and I feel it is a wonderful school... very inclusive of all faiths (they learn about all religions even though it's a Catholic school) and nurturing with great pastoral care and teaching. it's a real community of families and school staff and I was very sad when my youngest left for secondary this year.
    • happy to buy, but would rather not buy a new one as only need it for a very short time (Hallowe'en). Please let me know if you have one in your cupboard that you don't use.
