I'm working on an adaptation of the novel Kes for upper-class urbanite readers, however my research has hit a stumbling block.

Almost four weeks of being passed between the Ministry of Farms and Fisheries, RSPB and Southwark's Avian Licensing Department and I'm still no closer to having the required forms. :(

It's enough to make me consider just giving up on this worthwhile and artistically valid project and sending the lottery grant money back.
