Recommended Builder / Bathroom Installer

This is a recommendation for PJ (Paul Newnham) of PJ Installations. I got PJ's details from the forum and tendered the bathroom installation job to 5 companies/builders. I weighed up the price and my confidence in them to complete the job/add value. I ended up selecting PJ and he didn't disappoint. The job involved removing a horrible old suite and pipework and then:

- moving the door

- building new studwork to create a new shower unit

- box in all the pipework and tile in a brickwork sty;e

- install a feature floor with heated grid and thermostat

etc etc....the pictures speak for themselve

PJ was courteous throughout and kept us informed on progress and even had to work around relatives and our 18 month old daughter being around most days.

He also gave us ideas throughout and went out of the way to sort out problems with the parts that we had ordered. He installed recesses in the shower unit with LED lights and a motion sensor so that when you go to the bathroom in the night you automatically have low level light - great idea!

He can do most trades or will coordinate them, although he did the bathroom wholly alone. Highly recommended, he is on 07775520400 and [email protected].

Have a look at the pics.

    • Now I have heard everything…..not send your kid to a school because you don’t like the name - so to get my head around this, if school is outstanding, parents won’t send their child there because of name of school? Or have I not understood?
    • A quick Google says that it is not undersubscribed unlike many subject schools so those claims mentioned above may not be true. Last Ofsted was good.  You are definitely right about the money. This is what trusts do. Remove word ‘subject’ above Remove word ‘subject’ above I can’t edit my ridiculous errors but would like to apologise  for messy post
    • I have heard claims that people don't send their children there because of the name of the school..?  I genuinely cannot get my head around this one. The school is named after the road it is on which is named after the history of the area!  'Grove Primary School' is potentially the most boring name they could have come up with, and for a school struggling financially, is rebranding the school really the best use of funds?
