Advice on bifolds

Hi

We thinking of having bifold doors installed and was hoping for some advice from those of you which have already gone through this process. It seems there are lots of different manufacturers/ installers all with good and bad reviews,it seems a bit of a minefield!!

We know we are going to choose aluminium but that is it, a friend mentioned that schuco are a good make but this is only one recommendation

Any help will be greatly appreciated thanks x

Just gone through this minefield of options from top end bespoke firms to cheap bottom feeders and we opted for Schuco too. Great German quality.

Watch out for the different companies that supply this brand. Some are professional but some are real fly by nights.

We just installed new wave doors. They are like bi-folds but each panel is independent and hence he can move it around as you wish. So far so good. We got the grey aluminium and they look great

Oooo haven't seen the new wave doors before, is there a local showroom to have a look?

Hi, I did some BI-folding doors in wood they work very good, but wave doors I think they are not handy!

We have Schuco too - the doors are lovely, can't say the same of the co we bought through so PM if you need more info
