Advice - open house selling baby stuff

Myself and a friend have lots and lots of unisex, baby girl clothes and new born boy clothes to sell and haven't really got the time to sort them in bundles to sell or to photograph all individually to sell so was thinking of doing an open house.

Any thoughts?

I would basically have a day where anyone can come and browse through the bits, all will be priced, and take what they want.

Has anyone done this before? Does it work?

I've not heard of someone doing an open house before for baby stuff but have you considered getting a pitch at one of the local car boot sales? Several schools hold them, and Heber's one is coming up on Sunday 18th May, if I may be allowed a quick plug...

I remember somebody on here organised an 'open house' with a friend for baby stuff about 18 months ago.

Not sure how they got on.

I think it's a good idea.

I went to one if these, it was by appt but all the stuff was laid out.

I'd be interested, I need clothes for 2+ boy.

So yes, great idea, maybe do a few days or let people arrange times to come, that way you don't have loads of people in your house at once.
