Morning everyone

I've been contacted by a French/German TV reporter who wants to do a little piece on the People's Republic of Southwark event as well as a piece on anyone whose home mostly contains swapped items, be it furniture, clothes, anything else. The shoot is likely to be on 22nd or 23rd November

If you know of anyone who might be interested in taking part, please let me know.

Thanks

Lili

My home primarily consists of items swapped (one-way only) from other peoples homes who originally paid for them.

The items are pretty much brand new and I even provided the transport to take the said items to my residence.

Does this count and do I qualify?

Hahhahahhahhhahahahahahaha oh that's funny.

Most of my furniture is homemade. Does that count?

No wait, I don't want camera crews in my flat! Though the Bond film producers did recently pay a hell of a lot of money to someone who let them film in their house and they knocked a chunk out a wall and made a mess. Yeah, come on in!

    • Hi all, it’s been a while since I last posted so I thought I’d provide a quick update on what we now can offer. Alongside the usual bespoke joinery (wardrobes, bookcases, alcove units etc), I’m now also working with a wider range of veneered boards (ash, maple, walnut, etc.) as well as fluted/reeded panels for anyone after a more textured, high-end finish. I’ve also been adding more lighting options to my fitted furniture – warm white LED strips with sensors or remote controls, ideal for wardrobes and bookcases. They make a huge difference once fitted and really elevate a space. If you’re planning a project and would like to explore these options, please feel free to get in touch.
