I was taking three children (two toddlers and a four year old) to the transport museum last week. I had a double buggie. A virtually empty 176 came to the bus stop and refused to let me get on saying he already had a buggy on board. i explained that I could collapse the buggy and have the children on a seat with me but he just drove off. needless to say the next bus didn't have such a problem. how come? and thanks to the second bus driver for allowing us to get on.

Aced Out - I can promise you i don't push people onto the road when i am using my double buggy. I will always wait at a convenient spot and let people pass. And as for using it on the bus I will always collapse it down as the children are able to sit on the seat. Furthermore, we should encourage people to use public transport, not penalise them. If not, why not tax people in wheelchairs too.

    • I thought the most they sell in terms of hot food at londis is like pastries and sausage rolls and for hot drinks its like costa coffee but its always a convenience store. Doesn’t look too bad in my opinion considering that shop has been closed down ever since i moved here
    • Hi Busterb, Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road. Please be warned, viewers discretion is advised. but this is what the deceased tabby looked like: https://www.facebook.com/groups/900015513463302/permalink/3729980853800073/  In any case, if you haven't been able to get someone to scan or take down to a vet, I can scan tomorrow morning.
    • Wholeheartedly recommend Aria. He was polite, responsive and sorted our leak, from an old tap on an old plumbing system, with no bother and on same day.
