Can anyone recommend a sleep training clock? One of those that looks awake when its time to get up and looks asleep when its still night time? (is that as clear as mud?!)

We used to have one but it was so loud when it woke up that on the off chance my little one was still asleep, the clock used to wake him! not what I wanted!

Thanks so much!

We wanted one that was battery powered and liked the simplicity of this one:

The sheep is either asleep or awake, no noise and not an overly-bright light. You set the time for the sheep to 'wake up'. Have used it from 18 months old - the novelty of being woken by sheep impressions from our youngest was very entertaining once he got the hang of it.

Good luck!

We've got the groclock and it worked like a dream for about a month and definitely helped to make the 5am starts a thing of the past (touch wood)?now we've optimistically got it set for the sun to come up at 7am and honestly he never sleeps until then, but we still use it as part of his bedtime routine and it can also be a nightlight which is handy. But it really helped him start to sleep beyond 5am so he now wakes around 6am which is at least slightly more respectable. And it definitely beguiles them at least temporarily and they seem to respect the groclock's authority over their sleep-deprived parents pleas, it's a great idea and seems to really connect with toddlers although the story that comes with it is rubbish. This is a really good blogpost about the groclock, rings true for me? http://www.dadhacks.co.uk/2014/05/gro-clock/

They are some of the best looking foxes around so clearly being well-fed - glorious coats and bushy tails but interested in humans and keen to engage/be fed rather than being scared.
