I ride through Burgess Park every day on my commute. Up until a couple of years ago it was a desolate, intimidating, bleak place. The recent transformation has been amazing. The extended lake, bmx track, landscaping and wild flower meadows all over the place has made it a great environment. I really look forward to riding through it now. I recommend a trip.

Yes, the little garden is really sweet, and the cafe is OK too.

I read somewhere that Edinburgh is doing this next year? Charges of this kind are becoming common around the world. I think it absolutely makes sense for Southwark and other boroughs are bound to follow.
