People not getting back one way or the other!

Just had to bring something up about people on the forum not communicating.

I sell (and buy) lots of bits on here and think it's common courtesy to communicate.

My time is precious. I work full-time, have my own family (including my Dad, who has Alzheimers).

People enquire, then don't get back.

People enquire, then get back but don't turn up.

People enquire and I offer to drop-off. When I get there there's nobody in.

This has happened at least 4 times this week.

I pm them back about non-collection etc. and they read the message but don't respond.

If people had text or phoned in the first place it would have been a lot better.

That must be annoying, but maybe you need to insist on a contact number in future.

That's a good idea! I've always left my number so will ask for theirs.

Don't forget the people who agree a price in advance, then turn up and want to haggle.

Annoying and IMO rude.

Or the other way round when they say item is still available, im happy to pay price they've said but never hear from then again! Its okay if youve sold it guys just say so lol! You know I can see you've read my messages right? Lol. Confuses me! Haha! Xx

That's never happened to me as I always get back to everybody. I always go by the first pm, forum reply, but often they don't get back or don't show (this has happened twice since last Thursday) and when I get back to other interested people, they've lost interest!
