Can anyone recommend a garage to fix scratch/dent?

I scratched and slightly dented the passenger door of our car this weekend.

Has anyone used a local garage to repair this kind of damage and would recommend?

Carried out invisible repair to body colour bumper.I believe they do paintwork/ dents too. Work undertaken at your home/ business. Price was reasonable too.

would cost alot more than a bodyshop yes it would be quicker as they do it there and there instead of 2/3 days at a bodyshop

I have used Peacocks in Chadwick Road for 30 years, now run by the grandson of the Mr Peacock we first knew. They have sorted all sorts of dents and bodywork issues in our old cars.

Theres a guy at the back of Dartmouth Road service station in Sydenham. He does a good job on my neighbours car on a regular basis. You'd never know his wife had hit their drive way wall (again)

I found JS Coachworks very expensive.

I had my boot panel keyed, very deeply.

John Harden from Chips Away was recommended on here. He comes to your house. The job was 1/2 the price and perfect paint matching - can't see a thing.

He also did more than he said he would do for the same cost. And was very quick.

one problem with the guys that attend your home to repair dents and scratches is they dont laquer the whole panel after they have spray painted the repaired area so its only a matter of time before the laquer starts to peel .

Compare a chips away type service vs a body shop is apples and oranges - different products and services and price comparisons aren't really relevant. I've used both depending on the job.
