Hello,

In the summer, I am going on an expedition to Tanzania and we will be helping to complete the construction of a preschool. Currently, the village has very little in the way of writing and drawing equipment. Both the younger and older children would get a lot of joy from simple equipment. However, we cannot take ink or felt tip pens, as they tend to dry up or leak in the heat.

Please do have a look around for anything that may no longer be used. Everyone has that box of ancient disused pencils at the back of a cupboard!

I am very happy to collect and sharpen them, so do let me know if you have anything at all!

Many Thanks,

Emily

Thank you all for your support.

Loz - Thank you for the suggestion. I think we are really looking to take second hand stationary, as our cash fundraising is being spent on more expensive things such as building materials and paint.

Mariababe - It would be lovely to be able to take books, but unfortunately I don't think our baggage allowance will allow for it. Please do PM me if you would like me to pick up any pencils you do have. Many thanks. I have copied this post to the family room, thanks.

Thank you very much for all your donations! I now have more than enough pencils. I am happy to collect any that have already been offered, however we may not be able to take them all. I am currently looking for another good cause which might be able to make use of them. On the other hand, we are also looking to take some costume jewellery, so if anybody has any old bits around, please let me know.

Thanks again!

Emily

It holds an impressive customer rating of 5.0, reflecting its popularity, particularly in the mornings. The cafe features a menu replete with traditional breakfast fares such as rolls (including varieties like Bacon and Egg Roll, Sausage Roll), burgers (such as the Chicken Fillet Burger and Cheese Burger), and a selection of sandwiches and baguettes. Popular items among patrons include Beans, Chips, Two Crusty Slices, and a Latte, with the Bacon and Egg Sandwich and Chicken Fillet Burger frequently ordered together. Surely AI is now starting to take over on restaurant reviews!
    • Fede gave me a great haircut recently, and my first colour ever (covering up the post-50 greys!). Was quite nervous about the colour, but he's suggested something really flattering, and I've had loads of positive comments this week. Thanks for the advice about my eyebrows too! Would highly recommend!
