Disagree here - I've definitely seen it on many an occasion, and one time, back when there were still bus conductors, witnessed a violent physical assault. None of which is to say that I don't agree vehemently with Brendan.

I agree with RosieH. And Brendan. And usually Bon3yard!

I've definitely witnessed lots of abuse heaped on (in these cases) an innocent driver. Given the hours, facilities at each end ofthe route, and general London traffic I'm amazed they don't go postal more often. Which isn't to excuse the behaviour outlined above but if the battles lines are strictly "Joe Public v Bus Drivers" I'm not sure I would fight exclusively for one side or t'other

    • Loki hasn’t been seen since Sunday. He’s all grey but if you look closely he has faint stripes on the top of his tail. No pedigree, just very much loved. About 4 years old. No collar, but chipped.  please keep an eye out for him. We live on Barry Road SE22
    • I went in here the other day. The fruit is all really good - ripe and fresh. They also sell good bread (and croissants and pastries) from a independent bakery, the name of which I've forgotten. 🤦 The prices (which are marked) are not cheap but they are fair imo. Comparable to the specialist fruit shop on Lordship Lane (Brothers?) for really good quality. It's similar prices to Simply Fresh - but Simply Fresh's fruit and veg is very poor. Beaten about and tasteless. Sainsbury's is certainly cheaper. IMVHO they're a good addition to the Dulwich Village "retail offer".
    • Went actually for the first time yesterday. Terrific food, so was well pleased. Agree with previous poster to support.
    • Hi!! Moving house soon so looking for some cardboard boxes. Anyone know of any shops or cafes that may be giving some away?
