Looking for someone who knows about Soffits

I have the opportunity to do some repair work to my soffits (right now) and can't seem to find anyone who knows much about them/ how to do it. The roofing place on Lordship Lane is happy to supply lengths but don't fit them....any advice or a roofing handy/person's expertise, would be appreciated.

once you have done underneath dont forget to drill out for the 2 inch vents little round ones .this helps to stop the soffit from rotting in the future .once your up there you will see how to fit it
