WE are currently using Loft Life.... mostly a good experience. The people who are front line are lovely, professional and care. Sometimes the people who do work for them care less (or not at all....just want the job done). Everyone laughs at how "builders are", as if they really are cavemen that don't know what a bin is or that living with their rubbish, empty cups left on building roofs etc is what you have to put up with. But I treat them as professional tradespeople nonetheless. Happy to elaborate further if you like.

Hello I have the opportunity to do some repair work to my soffits (right now) and can't seem to find anyone who knows much about them/ how to do it. The roofing place on Lordship Lane is happy to supply lengths but don't fit them....any advice or a roofing handy/person's expertise, would be appreciated.

I know they are really out of vogue, but does anyone know if it's possible to get a spiral perm these days? and if so, at a place that knows what they are doing (with fine, fair hair)

Help!! my washing machine was working well until yesterday when all power seems to have vanished. I have looked at the fuse box, and changed the fuse on the plug. Anyone know more about what might be going on? Have a recommendation for someone to look at it?
