Any good places to eat locally for vegans?

I'd recommend trying the Blue Brick Cafe on Fellbrigg Road (just round the corner from The Actress). Lots of veggie stuff and a fair bit of vegan stuff on the menu. Decent prices, tasty food & friendly staff.

(Disclaimer: Although they do market themselves as a 'vegetarian and vegan cafe', I can't vouch for the number of strict vegan options as I'm neither veggie nor vegan so don't scrutinise the menu too closely! I think there are enough options that it would be worth a look, and if not then I'd imagine they'd be happy to change it up to make it vegan where possible. You can see a bit of their menu on their website anyway and decide for yourself :) http://cargocollective.com/bluebrickcafe/MENU)
