  1. It?s almost certainly because I had a different opinion to Mark on the thread about this festival in the park. Apparently, people aren?t allowed opinions on here anymore. We all have to agree. Louisa.
  2. Once again, it appears admin has seen fit to remove me permanently to ?The Lounge?. This time, no warning, no explanation, no compassion. I have struggled my way through these past few months trying my best to enhance discussion on this forum. Encouraging debate on days when the forum is almost completely abandoned by everyone. I?ve managed to rip apart convention, heal wounds, bring people together, and yes, at times be somewhat controversial. I don?t apologise for this. The price? Yet another working class voice silenced in the name of middle ground dullness. Controversy and bluntness shoved by the wayside, in favour of quiet sameness. Dull and pointless agreement. Is there any reason in me staying around if I am confined to ?The Lounge? like a criminal on tag? I sit here in the garden, in the sun, pondering what I have done that is so bad as to be once more imprisoned in this way, just for having opinions. It?s not the drink talking, this is a genuinely perplexed me wondering what I?ve done wrong. Have my forum days finally come to an end? Or should I wait until the magic 10k and self implode? Louisa.
  3. Yes but most ordinary people know that Sainsbury?s is a rip off. Hardly a secret, is it? You can get responsibly farmed meat without paying through the nose. The average person on the street would not pay out ?15 for a chicken. You know it as well. Louisa.
  4. Ah but you see robbin I don?t need to reinvent myself, why would I need to preach to the converted? Everyone on here has opinions about me, and I don?t particularly care either way. I have a style which isn?t to everyone?s taste, and that?s fair enough. But it?s below the belt for you to use that, and predictable may I add. Getting back onto the topic of you and your posts, you also have a unique style which is often quite blunt and politically slanted. Your forum back catalogue shows this. The troll card could easily be used against you for the same reasons robbin. You do goad people on here, and don?t deny that you do because the proof is in the pudding. You went out of your way to take a thread off topic to pull me up on my spelling, something you knew damn well would get me angry. You then, as I previously explained with my analogy, went on to play the innocent card. That is trolling. Louisa.
  5. I was going to attempt Hampton Court via Clapham Junction tomorrow and that won?t be happening either! Good job I read this. Louisa.
  6. Unfortunately civilservant, robbin enjoys trolling the forum under the guise of correcting people, also more commonly known as goading. It?s actually bordering on a smart form of trolling, because they do try and keep to the plot and sound convincing by having a convenient back story. You don?t need to delve too far back into the annuals of EDF History to find numerous examples of robbin trying to be smart and falling at the first fence. A good analogy of robbin, would be the playground stirer who winds up a few people and gets them to have a go at each other, whilst smugly stood on the sidelines crying with laughter. ?Not me guv?? Nice try robbin, failed again. Louisa.
  7. Who pay fifteen quid for a chicken? Only in East Dulwich. ?Good value for money? Louisa.
  8. It?s ok, but to be honest, it?s still just another fullers pub. Nothing unexpected or out of the ordinary. Louisa.
  9. At what point in my post did I take aim at the specific type of music? I said festival music as a general term, don?t you dare put words in my mouth ollieloudon. Mark, if you care to read various posts above, you?ll see lots of local people aren?t impressed. Stop trying to act like everyone is excited about this. Anyone would think 18-30 is the only age group locally. I bet if there was a craft fair on the Rye you lot would be up in arms about it. As I said, we will see how diverse the crowds are. Something tells me it will be the Shoreditch hipster crowd jumping the Overground to get totally out of it on cheap lager and then piss up against whatever is in front of them. Local kids won?t get a look in. Louisa.

And what makes you think your opinion is so special? If that?s what you genuinely believe, then maybe you should take into account other residents locally who would like to have use of the park over this bank holiday weekend. We don?t all want to listen to loud inappropriate festival music in our shared spaces - IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA, may I add. Louisa.

I said CONSULT, not INFORM. A consultation may have drawn a diffrrrnt result to telling people this event is happening, like it or lump it. We all know it?s probably aimed at a certain demographic, maybe I?m wrong though. I?ll pop by the park and have a look around this weekend to get a rough idea of the types attending. Louisa.

So is this event aimed at local young people from all backgrounds, or is it priced so as to attract wealthier younger people who are new to the area? Maybe I don?t want to ?broaden my mind?, don?t patronise people. It?s a bank holiday weekend and local people want to be able to use this community space and not have it penned off for the exclusive use of hipsters and daytrippers who will leave the park in a mess after making a load of noise. Louisa.

A park we bloody well pay for. Just to keep some festival lovers happy. They should consult the local community before putting this loud, messy event on, IMO. But who cares what I or anyone else thinks, as long as some posh 18-30 year old out of towners have a good time. Louisa.

Yes, you are embarrassing. You are constantly editing posts and then making out that it was for ?other reasons?. Very tiresome robbin. But I?m not the spelling police, so unlike you I won?t continue to raise it all the time. Happy editing! Louisa.

For some reason the work "Troll" keeps > springing to mind, I can't think why. Rather than just admit that some people do visit certain establishments to be seen doing so, you have to accuse me of trolling. It?s pathetic Sue. Some people like attention seeking, nothing wrong with that. Personally, I?d rather pop in when all the fuss has died back. Louisa.
  20. Well done rat. Can?t possibly have wild pussies running around the green, persecuting the rat population. Louisa.
  21. Sue please just stop this. It?s beyond funny now. I?m not suggesting you went along just to be seen, but what I would add is that you could have waited like most people do 2/3 months in before you booked a table. Why book one now when you know it?s fresh and everyone is watching you go in? That?s all I?m saying. If you enjoy the publicity and the limelight thatsfair enough, own it. Don?t shy away and accuse me of being strange for having that opinion of people. Louisa.
  22. Excuse me Sue, someone else raised this issue, not me. Actually, numerous people did. Why is it so uncomfortable for some on here to admit their attention seeking? No one is saying it?s a bad thing per se, but admitting it shouldn?t be a problem. Anyway, hope you enjoyed your meal. I will be heading off to McDonalds later and couldn?t two hoots who?s looking at me whilst I tuck into my Big Mac and chips. Louisa.

Or maybe they could pop round to yours and supply you with a tutor to sort out your constant post editing (evidently caused by not being able to spell properly). Louisa.
  24. I?ve covered this topic before. Not everyone does it, some people just want a meal out. But it does seem that a disproportionate number of local residents enjoy the limelight of a new restaurant opening, including being sat in visible view of passers-by. Sorry if that?s offensive. Louisa.

People like you don?t live in the real world. If you genuinely believe some residents don?t attend these places for attention seeking purposes then you?re more ridiculous than I initially gave you credit for. ?Decent intelligent ethical residents?, get over yourself robbin. Full of BS as usual. Louisa.
