Can anyone recommend a company that can scan and digitise old photos and family albums? Looking for best possible quality and utmost tlc with the originals.

Not quite East Dulwich, but I have used Snappy Snaps in Rye Lane, good service and not overly expensive - you get to see the proofs before you order.

Try http://www.digiscanltd.com/ you post them the album (I did it recorded delivery) and they scan the images on whatever format you need and post it back to you. Reasonably priced and I think I got a groupon/ living social coupon to reduce this further.

I have used http://scan-van.co.uk/

I recall it is run by a chap called Alan and depending on the service you choose, he will pick up and drop off your pictures in person, and can also do the scanning in the van in your drive etc. if you don't want them being driven around etc.
