Wanted: suggestions for party venue

Can anyone recommend a venue for a 50th birthday party on 1st November?

Booze is compulsory, food less so, and we'd like to be able to have live music (band and/or acoustic duo) as well as a DJ. I guess there'll be 50-70 guests.

EDT was our first thought, but it's already booked.

Any suggestions?

East Dulwich is pretty slim on function rooms... although I think the Herne Tavern does functions... not mad on the venue myself.

The nuns head on nunhead lane has a function room for hire.. Although it's not in dulwich it's only down the road.
