I think it's pretty much true.

My understanding is that they're going preserve some of the shop fronts (as they are listed), and much of Denmark Street will remain dedicated to music shops or the music industry. However, structurally it is going to be pretty much demolished and redeveloped.

There is a campaign against it, but as it's to do with the whole crossrail thing, I can't see it being stopped unfortunately.

Is it really directly related to Crossrail? Seems like a purely commercial decision from the landlord as far as I can see.
