Absurd! I have only been the thread starter - yes thats the phrase isn't it? - for around 3 threads in that forum. It would seem that my commentry in regards to the strikes recently is prehaps what has caused this. As a member of this forum for over a year, this treatment is most unsatisfactory.
Is the East Dulwich board not the correct place for a post on Dulwich Village? In the year I've been a member of this forum I have seen amply threads about the surrounding neighborhoods of Dulwich. I didn't think the proximity would be an issue? Unless my mere speculation of Dulwich Villages superior affluence ruffled some feathers - surely not!

I recently used a contractor who had been recommended on this forum. I now want to write a review myself for this person. BUT . . . I have called up the east dulwich forum from the internet and I can't see how to log in (i do have a username and a password)and I can't see where or how to write a review. Please can you tell me how I should go about this? I don't know if the forum has any kind funding but it could really benefit from using a decent web site designer.

Thanks, Ray Covey.

it looks like you may have cracked the logging in thing, and the posting a post thing.

Exactly what is still baffling you about this process?

And no, no real funding apart from occassional generous donations from some of its users, and a few supportive advertisers bringing in literally dozens of pounds a year.

Go to the business section http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/list.php?30 and search for the contractor. If there's a post about him add a message to it, if not then please start one. If this person's a decent web site designer who could really benefit the forum then please PM me.

    • I’m not sure how many other people have experienced this; but both me and one of my friends have the same story. Around Crawthew Grove and Crystal Palace Road: I was followed by a large fox right on my heel. At first I didn’t notice because I had my headphones on, but then I noticed my shadow had an extra lump in it, funnily enough, it was a fox, very very close to my feet. Even if I sped up walking it just tried to get closer - it was quite frightening actually, it was quite clear that it wanted to nip me. I didn’t know what to do so, I started to reprimand the fox and walked slowly away from it, facing it - which it didn’t seem to like and backed off a bit. I then proceeded to speed-walk away.   Quite frankly, the whole situation was quite embarrassing and a little bit frightful as I’d never had a fox even come up to me. I’ve heard of particularly curious foxes that might come up to someone who beckons them, and maybe even bite that person, but I’ve never heard of a fox chasing someone. The amount of confidence that it had was incredible.    When it happened, I was on the way to see some friends, and once I had told one of them, she told me the same thing happened to her.  if anyone else knows anything about this bitey fox then let me know!
    • Another recommendation for Andy. I needed an old kitchen removed as an emergency. Andy came over quickly and did a fantastic job. I have used Andy a few times. He is punctual, helpful and always does an  excellent job.
