Please note the slightly earlier time (will be slightly less hot with 27 degrees forecast).

If you're thinking of coming could you let me know on this thread so I can check on numbers. Thanks!

All ages welcome, best for 18m to 4+ years, but younger ones still enjoy it.

?6 per child and ?4 for siblings over 14m.

Hope to see you tomorrow!

Holly

Hi, a few people are coming, if there are not enough people for a session today I will open the reserve up for those of you coming to have a wander round for an hour and play with the free play equipment there. So do feel free to come along at 9.30. Holly

    • Because of the weather which delayed completion with roofer only being able to work certain days, it was up from November - end of January. Went slightly higher than gutters (we also had guttering replaced).
    • It's tough being a courier and the pay which is largely based on the number they deliver is miserable. Hence the staff turnover is high. EFRI was previously branded as HERMES but they had to create a new brand name because of poor performance. We get regular courier deliveries and EVRI are by far the worst. They just drop the parcel at the front door - often without ringing the bell. But worst is when they deliver to the equivalent door number on LL instead of ours on EDG. Best are ParcelForce, DHL and DPD by a wide margin.
    • I know the couple you mean, and she has always been friendly and smiley when delivering to me, but obviously in a hurry, for all the reasons outlined in the thread. My gate is always open, however (unless someone coming to the house closes it when they leave). I can't see the point of gates that have to be opened and shut again every time someone comes to the house. It just seems a waste of time, and it's annoying if you are carrying stuff. And a closed gate  conveys a sort of "my house is my fortress" feel. To me, anyway.
    • Thanks for posting this. Really interesting. It would be good if you added a star rating, so that it was easier to do comparisons / see what your top recommendations are. Great blog though!
