This sounds exciting, look forward to hearing more :)

A reincarnation of the Dream Machine in ED but with more choice of music to buy would be my, er, dream :)

ie somewhere to drop in any time, have a drink and listen to music, live or otherwise .....

ETA: Mind you the drink tended to be Stella from Bossman or a pint from the Palmerston (if feeling flush) rather than coffee and cake ....

Don't think you'll find much about it online somehow ....

It was based underneath the cafe next to the Palmerston, on Lordship Lane.

It was very small and only sold secondhand music, but had gigs there sometimes.

ETA: Run by John Lynch, he's not in ED any more :(

    • I've planted a meadow out front, it needs a lot of work.  It's lovely until August and then grotty until the next spring as once the flowers have died back it doesn't have a lot going for it.  Clover is the last one to flower.  It will get admiring looks when in bloom. I laugh quite loud when I pass one neighbour with plastic grass, not only is it dead to nature it is not even laid well,   I should be crying.
    • Andy did a number of jobs for me and was very reasonably priced. He's very helpful, arrives on time, pays attention to detail and a nice man. I'll be using him again and recommending him to my friends.
    • A Y13 student of Art at The Charter School North Dulwich left their A3 art portfolio on the 37 bus after school on Friday 13 February - travelling from North Dulwich to East Dulwich.  TFL and the bus garage have been contacted but do not have it.  It is a large A3 transparent bag with a black art folder inside.  The student's name is inside the portfolio and the bag is stamped with the school name.  If anyone happens to have picked up the portfolio or has any leads please do contact [email protected]  We are really keen to get our student's work back safely!
    • It is sectarianism, which is a really strange stance for the Green party (as is traditionally understood) to take. I don't understand it at all - and this is evident in their UK and O/seas policies
