Alan Medic
I thought there was a computer geeks thread but maybe it been consigned to the dustbin.Anyway, if anyone can advise what's wrong, thank you. I use AOL Desktop 9.7 to access my email and various favourite haunts such as here. However, for whatever reason if I want to play a video on the BBC News/Sport website for example I get the above message. This has gone on for some time but now it's bugging me.If I access the same website using google chrome I have no such problem. I've been messing around now for a while and haven't found a solution, though I imagine it's probably simple. I just don't know enough. Can anyone tell me the solution? right-clicking
Java is the script you are having trouble with, With whatever browser you are using it should have a "tools" section. find the security bit, trusted sites and allow Java. Alan Medic
Thanks r-c for the suggestion. I ended up doing various things ending in re-installing AOL Desktop. Seems to have worked.
